Position your surveys so employees feel confident responding
Updated on November 29, 2020
Congrats! You're about to send your first eNPS survey to your employees!
Announcing you're running eNPS surveys might be a little worrisome, especially if you've never sent out surveys to measure employee engagement or morale before.
Read on for details on exactly how to announce your new eNPS initiative.
Employees probably don't know what an eNPS score is and many have never submitted an employee satisfaction survey. They might wonder if it's company-wide, if their answers can be used against them, how honest they should be and more.
Sharing honest feelings about work can be stressful so it's important you alleviate employee anxiety around eNPS surveys by informing them on the exact purpose and method.
Once employees understand that eNPS surveys are there to benefit them and better their work environment, they'll be much more willing to answer honestly.
In your annoucement email, explain that an Employee Net Promoter Score, or eNPS score, measures employee satisfaction with 1 simple question: How likely are you to recommend working here to a friend?
eNPS.co specifically, is an eNPS survey service that makes measuring employee satisfaction simple and safe.

Hello,
This Friday we're sending out an anonymous, one-question survey to measure your satisfaction working here. It's called an eNPS survey—it helps us measure employee satisfaction by giving us a number called an Employee Net Promoter Score.
These surveys help us improve over time, so your honestly is important! They are run through a 3rd-party service (eNPS.co) that keeps your feedback 100% anonymous.
We're doing this now because more people are working from home and we want to know how it's going.
Thank you in advance for your participation! If you have any questions, please respond directly to this email. :)

Hello,
Next week we're sending out an anonymous, one-question email survey to measure your satisfaction working here and helps us improve over time.
The survey is through eNPS.co—a 3rd party service that keeps your feedback 100% anonymous. eNPS.co aggregates all employee survey answers to give us a number called an Employee Net Promoter Score.
We're adding eNPS because the other HR software we use doesn't do these recurring quick surveys. But don't worry! There's nothing else to log into.
Thank you in advance for your participation! If you have any questions, please respond directly to this email. :)

Hello,
Tomorrow we're sending out an anonymous, one-question survey to measure your satisfaction working here via text message. The survey is through eNPS.co—a 3rd party service that keeps your feedback 100% anonymous.
The purpose of these surveys is to learn how we can improve your experience working here. We're sending them via text message, because most of you are not at your desks all day. Just text back your score to tell us how you're doing. It's totally anonymous!
Thank you in advance for your participation! If you have any questions, please respond directly to this email. :)
